Head Boy & Head Girl????

Yes, we do in fact know that Lily was a Gryffindor.  Rowling said it 
in an interview, the October Scholastic one IIRC.

There was one other Head Boy we know about who was NOT a Gryffindor 
but a Slytherin.  That loveable scamp who opened the Chamber of 
Secrets and likes to play with anagrams: Tom Marvolo Riddle.

I'm pretty interested to see if either of the male members of the 
trio becomes distinguished as a Prefect, etc.  I'm rooting for Ron 
just because he's so determined to live up to his brothers' 
reputations.  I sure hope so, anyway.  It doesn't seem like either 
Ron or Harry has distinguished themselves academically (but then, 
being a Prefect may come down to a lot more than that, as others have 
said here before).
