Would Edgy Lupin Crack? (WAS Why Suspect Lupin? )

In response to lots of good dialog on Lupin cracking, I have to say 
no.

He is already in the pit of hell, being a Lycanthrope. What could 
possibly make him crack? To those who have suffered tremendously, and 
survived, it is doubtful more imposed suffering could do the trick.

Persuasion through curing his affliction is possible, yes, but 
cracking? I just don't buy it.
