Exactly! Who would suspect that someone with a name like Pansy or Millie
would be a death eater? The names sound so innocent that no one would
think, upon first hearing them, that the people to whom those names belonged
were leaning to the dark side. Something like Morticia or Maledicta already
gives the impression of someone who's less than admirable. It's almost the
reverse, I think, of what we see with Snape. When I heard the name Severus
Snape the first time, I would have bet anything that he was going to prove
evil. Yet he's shown himself to be loyal to Dumbledore throughout the
books. So there's a good example, IMO, of a counterpart to the
Florence/Millicent/Pansy situation, not only in gender, but allegiance.
