I figured we would see a new Minister in book 6, after the wizard
community has a chance to see that Fudge isn't doing anything about
Voldermort. Perhaps we will see Dumbledore take the Minister job
near the end of book 7, though. Did he turn down the minister job to
be available to Harry during his school years and now that he is
nearly done, Dumbledore will move on?
Also, do we know who the previous Minister was? I can't remember.
