as much as I *loathe* Snape, as a dedicated student I'd have to say
I'd rather be in his class. (Although as a human being with feelings
and emotions and all that, definitely not ^_~)

Yes, and she still gets the best grades and learns. Listen, I hate the way Snape teaches, I think it's counter-productive and just...EVIL, but at least he exposes the students to a variety of potions and the way to make them. At least the kids have a *chance*, if they're motivated enough to learn in spite of him. With Hagrid, though..it's almost like not going to class at all. IMO, the students in CoMC would be better off buying books on magical creatures and reading them on their own.
..Actually, now that I think about it, I would probably say the same for Snape's class as well.

Well, I can tell you it would involve a dark, damp underground place, pair of handcuffs, and alot of famished rats. ^_^
That particular incident is *the* biggest reason I hate Snape.

And I'm just *waiting* for her to slap him back.

I agree completely. I was just saying that, given the choice of two evils, I think Snape is the lesser -- at least for me. I can handle really mean people -- they bring out my homicidal tendencies, but I can deal, esp. if my education is on the line. Now, if I were *Neville* or maybe even Ron, I'd definitely take Hagrid over Snape anyday.
