> Another thougt on a slightly different tangent...did anyone ever
notice that Harry never seems to bathe (except in GOF in the prefects
bathroom)? ... From the way it sounds in the books, he just rolls out
of bed, gets dressed, eats meals and attends classes, practices
quidditch (getting rather "stinky" I would assume, let alone
rain-drenched with muddy feet), does homework, gets in his jammies,
goes to bed, gets up, gets dressed.... etc. Anyway, maybe being a
bit L.O.O.N.-y about this. I looked on the archives and didnt' see
anything about this. Just curious about any thoughts.

We have no way of knowing for sure, but Harry doesn't seem the sort to
be overly concerned about hygiene, not until the "Potter Stinks"
campaign, when he himself wasn't sure whether he had a problem or
whether the kids were just being mean. In my motherly experience,
boys that age don't bathe unless they are strongly reminded. I
suspect that Harry showers after Quidditch, especially if he's muddy,
but other than that, why would he want to?

What I found particularly funny was after his bubble bath when he was
so concerned that he might smell too perfumey.
