Logical course of action for Dumbledore?

Just curious as to what you all feel would be a logical course of action for
Dumbledore at the end of GoF? My personal thoughts are that he obviously
needs to form some alliances with the Giants, as is evidenced (as we all
know, of course) by asking Hagrid at the end of GoF to go off with Olympe,
i.e. "Madame Maxine to you," and talk to the Giants. And I fully agree with
him that the dementors need to be gotten rid of. I shudder to think what
could happen if they remain at Azkaban! But who else is he making alliances
with? Besides contacting "the old crowd" Lupin, Arabella Figg, etc, is there
evidence that he is attempting to bring together other members of the WW?

Also, there's the matter of infilitration. Good old Arthur Weasley is
apparently going in the Ministry, but theories as to where Snape is headed?
Is he going back to Voldemort, again as spy at "a great personal risk" or is
he heading some place else?

And speaking of Snape, who feels that Dumbledore is right in trusting him?

And speaking of Dumbledore, can I just say that I_love_ the man? I wish he
were real. In fact, the principal of my school once wrote an article in the
newsletter in which he expressed a wish to be more like Dumbledore himself...
