I do think the joke is getting old.  I also think that it has now 
become too obvious that the DADA teachers always turn out to be 
something other than what everyone thinks they are and that this 
particular plot device has been exhausted.  My money is on Mrs. Figg 
becoming the female DADA teacher.  I think Dumbledore will be looking 
for someone he trusts completely, especially now that he has 
basically set Hogwarts up as the Voldemort Resistance Headquarters.  
All of the other teachers seem to be a part of a special forces team 
that Dumbledore has assembled and I think it's high time that he 
chose a DADA professor to add to his team.  Mrs. Figg would still be 
keeping with the surprise tradition, though.  The other students 
might not be shocked by the sight of her but Harry certainly would 
be! 

Anyway, if Fleur becomes the new professor, I'll be shouting a few 
curses and hexes of my own.  :)

I am so there.  I'll bring the logs, the brats, the nachos, and a 
Bocce Ball set.  The thought of a Draco/Hermione ship makes me 
insane.  By that token, so does the Harry/Hermione ship.  Come on!  
GoF made it totally obvious that Ron and Hermione each have a thing 
for the other!
