Sirius undoubtedly knew Harry rather well when he was a baby. It's
funny how you can develop a bond with the child of someone with whom
you already have a strong bond. Harry doesn't remember, but Sirius
does. He's been thinking and worrying about Harry in Azkaban this
whole time, which is why he breaks out in the first place: to protect
Harry from Peter.
