What if. . . What if it's a *Dud?*

Oh, yeah.

I've been wondering about that for a long time too.

Unlike you about the romance, though, I don't really have any 
specific concern about Things That Could Go Wrong. I'm just sort of 
gnerally concerned that the whole thing will be somehow *wrong,* 
lame. Like you said, *dud-worthy.* Just not. . . measure up somehow.

Given how much we all want it, and how much we've loved the first 
four, I just keep wondering if we're not all setting ourselves up for 
disappointment. GOF just set up a lot in the series, and I keep 
thinking: what if that setup is somehow never properly *answered?* 



Derannimer (who would like to tell the Captain that she thinks it 
**extremely** unlikely that the books are going to get overly SHIPpy, 
although she does strongly suspect that her opinion on this issue 
**isn't** going to mean a lot to Cindy, given that they probably have 
different definitions of the term "overly SHIPpy")
