While I was reading the exciting new 'what happens to Harry' theory,
two thoughts came to me; 1)To what end? 2)of course, how does he get out?
To what end? How, why, and where does this take the story, how does it
advance it. Harry goes to St. Mungo's is the easy part. What I want to
know is 'Harry goes to St. Mungo's AND ...'.
How does he get out? - Well, this was just a crazy thought that came
to me. I was trying to imagine Hermione and Ron visiting Harry, and
scheming ways to get him out. Well, Harry is a powerful wizard, all he
really needs to get out is his wand. But how to get his wand?
So Harry tells Hermoine and Ron to take care of all his possessions.
Now the hospital in not likely to give them to Hermione and Ron, but
if Harry insisted that the Weasley's take care of his stuff. He's
especially concerned about his wand; doesn't want anything to happen
to it. So, once again, Harry demands that all his possessions be
turned over to the Weasleys.
So, while Harry is in the Hospital, to help prevent him from getting
to far behind on his studies, Hermione and Ron bring Harry some of his
books, some parchment, and some (...cue the creepy organ music....)
quills.
Now, let's go back in time. Remember those crazy twins and their magic
wands? You know they look like wizard wands but when you pick them up
the turn into rubber chicken or perhaps (...cue the creepy organ
music....) feather quills.
Late a night Harry picks up the one quill that is white with a red
tip, and magically, thanks to the skill of two mischief making twins,
it turns into Harry's wizard wand. There after follows the great
escape to Hogwarts and once under the watchful eye of Albus Dumbledore
and perhaps Madem Pomphrey, Harry is once again safe.
Ok, I know it's weak, but I thought the idea of a trick wand working
in reverse (object to wand rather than wand to object) was a cool idea.
Just a thought.
