Didn't all this come about from wanting to make the
polyjuice potion?

If yes, then Hermione was definitely the driving force
behind it.

I remember being very surprised at how badly she seemed to
want to make this potion.
Almost as if she wanted to prove she could, and not only to
help.

I can't find the book right now (it's time to talk to my
daughter about room clean-up once again <g>), but especially
Ron doesn't seem to think this is such a great idea.

It's definitely not the boys idea to "make" Hermione do
this.
