Actually-- even that's not necessary. Molly Weasley managed to accio
the Ton Tongue Toffees from Fred&George's pockets - she knew not ALL
their pockets nor just exactly what they DID have...
She merely doubted that they had something (based on her experience
on the two) and she still managed to summon the toffees.
So I'd say you don't really need to see the object, nor know exactly
what it is, nor where it is. Molly doesn't.
Harry did need to concentrate (Accio Firebolt!) on just what he was
summoning, but that's just because he had just learned the spell...
Summoning the Cup Harry no longer needed to spesify. (unlike Crouch
Jr summoning the parchment)
Still, none thought of summoning the egg, nor the cup? With the Egg,
well - Passing the Dragon was part of the Task...
And well - I think the Cup was somehow protected against summoning,
but the protection went away once it had been touched. (Really, it
couldn't be _that_ easy? Just summon the cup and be done?)
