facts.
We go to great lengths, expend large amounts of mental energy to
not accept painful facts, even when they are fairly well
substantiated.
Ron, on the other hand, *chooses* to believe something that
 >>>causes him pain. It just doesn't make sense.

Me: You know, I feel the need to point out somethign that no one has seemed
to metion. We have no clue what went on with Ron from when Harry left the
table, till he got up to his dormitory. I myself can imagine a dumbstruck
Ron, not knowing what to think, having tons of people comign up to Ron
Asking him what Harry did to get in. Ron's his best friend SURELY he would
know. NOt to mention all the, "Your friend Harry, HE'S so clever" etc etc. I
could see how in that circumstance all those kinds of comments would get to
someone, especially Ron. So his emotions reached a breaking point and he had
it out with Harry. I think the only reason it took so long for the two to
make up is pride. The scene where Ron walked in on Harry talking to Sirius,
I think, is evidence that Ron wanted to make up but didn't know how. He's
probly never been in a situation where he has said or done something he
regrets to someone he realy cares about. He IS a 14 year old boy.
