Now me:

I don't have the books right now, but isn't there a reference to 'the
thunder suddenly getting louder and louder' when they are on the island
in PS. Personally I think Rubeus 'flew' to the island on his
motorbike. We see in CoS that such enchanted vehicles have a mind of
there own when the magic car comes to rescue H+R in the forest. They
couldn't have taken the bike back to the mainland during the daytime as
they would have been seen, so I think the bike found it's own way during
the hours of darkness once Hagrid had found them.

---- On a different topic.. there has been discussion over "harry's new
pet". A lot of people have commented that perhaps Hedwig is also
Animagus. Personally I believe that perhaps he gives his owl to Sirrius
so he can keep in touch with Dumbledore. Or even on a idea which is way
out there... he inherits Fawkes once he proves once and for all that he
is the only heir to the Gryffindor crown.  Or equally of-the-wall;
Fawkes is given to Harry as a form of protection when he ventures to
pastures new that aren't either of the areas where he protected by
default.

Have a nice day everyone

Adam

Who wishes he was related to Dumbledore. And also believes that Snape
will not be a spy, how *utterly* predictable!
Who also appologises for not having good English
