I have always thought of it as puh-TRONE-us. 
Lucius=lew-shus...same for me until I saw CoS
Basilisk=Bass-i-lisk...I am American so maybe that is it

As for Accio..I say AK-see-o..All the websites I have visited say it 
is ah-see-oh....I don't like that way...lol

One more here...Cruciatus...I say Cru-she-atus...Cruccio...I say Cru-
she-oh...Probably wrong again..but we will have to wait until GoF for 
that one...
