The wording of the Valentine

If this has been brought up before, I apologize, but it struck me as 
odd.

If someone was *sending* a Valentine to Harry, be it Ginny or the 
twins, wouldn't they have written it *to* him?

"His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad" would have been "Your 
eyes are as green..."  and "His hair is as dark as a blackboard" 
would be "Your hair..."

See what I mean?  I have puzzled over this and the best I can come up 
with is that Ginny doodled it on spare parchment and Fred and George 
seized the opportunity to poke some fun without taking the time to 
change it.  

Any other thoughts?
