I assume that spoiler space is completely unnecessary considering 
that this makes no more mention of anything in the book than does the 
title of the post, but here it is anyway.

It just occurred to me that its certainly possible that everyone 
completely misinterpreted everything in Trelawney's so-
called "prediciton." Its possible that she had been speaking a 
completely different language that just happened to have many words 
that sounded exactly like words from the English language, and in 
fact, she had only been reciting an excellent recipe for fried 
chicken.  Of course, for this to work, the book would probably have 
to be written by Douglas Adams (R.I.P.), but you can't say its not 
possible.
