Harry and Death

Actually according to GoF UK PB Ed page 628 it mentions he 
was "waiting in the crowded Entrance Hall with the rest of the 
fourth-years for the carriages that would take them back to 
Hogsmeade station." which raises the question are they the same 
horseless carriages or are they different carriages? Or was Harry so 
distracted by Fleur, Ron and Hermonie's little spat, and more likely 
the death he just saw to notice the horses, but that does not seem 
likely does it? So does it take time after the death for these to be 
visible to people?
