Hey! What about Snape punishing Harry for the sins of the father? Just
because a kid's father is evil, that makes him evil too? Talk about your double
standard...
I can see Harry being skeptical of any Slyths joining. Hermione could just
jinx another parchment to see if the kid will tell anyone anything. Hermione's
all for unity between the Houses. It's really not fair to say that just
because a kid's father is a DE that he wants to be one when he comes of age. You
don't think that it's possible that the death of Cedric hit any of the Slyths
as wrong? That they haven't been able to see the error of the ways of their
father? That every single member of that House just can't wait to get out in
the real world and be a sniveling sycophantic follower of a crazed madman?
