Ah...  I hadn't seen the possibility that Sirius' death is really 
there for *comic* effect.  Yes, a true slapstick moment there.

Now, every time I read that passage, images of farms being bought, 
chips being cashed in, great kennels in the sky, and so on, will 
fill my mind.
