Alright, I didn't quote because truthfully I have no idea what I should
quote.
We have two theroies going around. One is the second gunman theroy, the
second is the "it always happened like that" therory.
I happen to support the second on in JKR's universe, it is rather simular to
the one in Greg Wiseman's Gargoyles Universe with The Phoenix Gate and the
Mists Of Avalon in said universe.
However to support the Second Dunman theroy I would like to bring forward an
idea that comes to my brin from Card Captor Sakura. Basically in one episoid
they are trying to get a card that turns back time 24 hours at midnight,
forcing them to relive the same day over and over again (people with magic are
aware that a day is supposed to have passed).
Now obviously events replay themselves, the one worth mentioning that is
always pointed out is during a soccer game the ball goes flying towards a male
costar who then kicks it martial arts style and it goes into the goal. same thing
happens the "next day" or to avoid confusion "the next repeat" he hits it
back into the goal.
In the end of the episoid the boy has a bandage on his head because he forgot
to kick/bock the ball, but it is mentioned that it still went into the goal.
If time works like that in JKR's universe there could be a second gunman as
it were. Buckbeak was *always* saved, the patronus was *always* cast. It had
to be, just like the ball going into the goal. But so long as the events
happened it didn't matter who did it.
Am I making any sence at all here?
