Who's this we of which you speak? You make it very clear that you hate
Snape. There are *plenty* of anti-Snapes out there *coughDARRINcough* :-) . Not
everyone is anti-James. I don't think it's edited. I agree with Diana - it's
like a camcorder.

*raises hand* Um...I hate MadEye!Crouch for that...It doesn't matter that
Malfoy is a git, you don't turn people into ferrets.

Umbridge is worse than Snape is very many ways. That blood quill? C'mon
man...even Snape wouldn't do that. Maybe he's vampire and he can't stand the
blood without wanting to drain the life from students! ... or not!

As a famous wizard put it "The world isn't divided into good guys and Death
Eaters." :-) As alot of people have brought up, Snape is a gray character in
a world of black and white. He's, as kai said, 3-D. Notice the "ex" in front
of Death Eater? You're going to pick on a person's character because of bad
personal hygeine? That's a little weak IMHO. Shouldn't people feel sorry for
everyone who gets attacked? Is Snape a special "No sympathy at any cost"
case? HRH *were* reckless in disarming him. You don't attack teachers. I
mean...students don't attack teachers. Lupin could've handled it.

The Quill of Death is more sadistic than anything else I've read in this
series. It's just wrong.

How does that make Harry look bad? It doesn't to me....
People like Snape because he's complex. Say whatever you like about him, it
doesn't take away from the fact that he is one of the more interesting
characters in the series. We learn more about him with each book. At first we think
he is just a stock character, your typical bad guy. We find out there's more
to him that what we see.
Everyone just loves to attack Snape. There's canon both for and against him.
I, for one, would like to know why everyone seems to love Hagrid. I think
he's worse than Snape in some ways, yet everyone is always saying how great
Hagrid is.
