Snape eating or not eating

When I read about Snape not eating at Grimauld Place, I found it VERY 
suspicious. Looks like a case of J.K.Rowlings putting in clues to 
me... Snape is a part-vampire, I feel it in my toes..

However, I was alwas imagining that Snape could eat at Hogwarts 
because he got specially prepared food there. Possibliy only 
Dumbledore and the house-elfs who prepare his food at Hogwarts know 
about his "special condition". They make his meals look like the 
other people's and slip them in discretely.
