I still find it fascinating that Voldemort won't recognize the power 
of love in magic.  He was very specific at the end of GoF to take 
Harry's blood, and not anyone else's, so that he could touch Harry, 
or possess him for that matter (like he does in the MoM to get 
Dumbledore to kill him).  He KNOWS why the curse didn't work, he 
knows he can't touch Harry at the Dursleys, and yet he still 
continues to underestimate such ancient magic.  For his own good, 
you'd think he'd figure out how to use these things to his 
advantage.  They will certainly be part of his downfall; they have 
already contributed to it, allowing Harry to escape him four times.  
He might be a great wizard (albeit evil to the core) but the guy's 
got the unfortunate tendency to downplay some serious issues.
