Actually, I think she did it this way on purpose.

It was an emotional thing to hear "Weasley Is Our King" yet again, 
and then frown and go, "Wait, those aren't the right words," and have 
it slowly dawn on one that the words have been changed because Ron 
saved the day.

It's the Harry's POV thing.  It probably rocked for Ron, but it's 
Harry's series, Harry's show -- and I really liked seeing him wince 
hearing the song then suddenly realizing it had been revamped as a 
victory song instead of a song to mock Ron.

Plus, it was a setup for Harry to see that boys at age 15 are 
egotistical attention-seekers, and that his best friend and his dad 
have something in common with the whole  "Windtossed Quidditch Star" 
look.
