I was particularly angry about this last bit. He had a cheek to blame
the committee which was in Lucius Malfoy's pocket and "had it" for Buckbeak!
So what! Wizengamot "had it" much worse for Harry, you still have to
fight the system as Dumbledore did.

Yes, and I would vote for this extra number. Come on, this is something
that my 7-year old wouldn't try anymore.
If Snape, Sirius and Lupin are all stuck at the age of 15, Hagrid is
about 5. While I see how some people find it endearing, I don't.
Is there something special about magical promise, BTW?
And I also wonder what lesson Harry is going to learn about Hagrid,
because he seems to be completely blind to his shortcomings.
