I'd like to link Pickle Jimmy's theory to a quote from JKR at the
Royal Albert Hall, about how we shouldn't get too attached to Snape
because of something bad he does in books 6 and 7. What if the
something bad he did was related to Mark Evans somehow? I've no idea
what - anything seems possible these days - but maybe he was ME's
uncle / father / half brother / whatever and rejected him somehow?
This is one feeble possibility out of hundreds, I know, so feel free
to laugh at that particular theory, but there's evidently a 'bad
Snape' storyline coming up soon, and I'd place bets on Mark Evans
appearing in book 6....strong possibility that the two plots could
be linked. Mind you, there's a strong possibility of pretty much any
wild theory going, so don't watch this space ;-)
