Hermione attempted murder!

Of course, is she "knew full well," then that means she was WRONG, 
because the centaurs didn't murder Umbridge, and they certainly had 
plenty of time to do so.

This tells me that she managed to escape when Grawp scattered the 
centaurs, OR, cooler heads prevailed among the centaurs, who realized 
that if they murdered a human, they'd be exterminated.

And considering that Umbridge was allowing two children to proceed, 
unarmed, in front of her, knowing there were dangerous creatures in 
the Forbidden Fores, I'm not the slightest bit sympathetic.

Generally, when evil people get mussed up a bit, I smile, cheer, pump 
my fist, etc...

I don't cry.
