This I believe is the strongest argument in favor of H/G. IMO, the 
idea of Harry having a relationship with someone completely "out of 
the loop" would not work.  Because of the special situation he is in 
and his undeniable need for Hermione's support, a female who is 
resentful of her would only cause Harry more problems-something he 
definitely does not need.  IMO, this is where Ginny would fit in 
nicely.  She already has a solid friendship with Hermione and would 
understand and not misinterpret Harry's need for Hermione's support.
IMO, JKR has set the wheels in motion for this ship to occur.
