Did/Do Frank and Alice know the entire Prophecy??

My apologies if this has been discussed...

It occurred to me...Lily and James knew LV was after them (or Harry), 
which made me wonder if DD told the Potters and the Longbottoms about 
the Prophecy, since it could've been about either one of their 
children.  Now, Lily and James are dead, but the Longbottoms aren't 
and I think *someone* is keeping them that way, but why?  Could it be 
that they were tortured not for the whereabouts of LV, but instead 
for the wording of the entire prophecy??
But this would mean that whoever is keeping them insane (with the gum)
is probably not siding with LV, after all, they would've tried to get 
it from them then.  I *highly doubt* it's DD doing it, but perhaps 
some total *moron* who thinks they're doing what is best for everyone 
(Umbridge anyone?  She really did think she was helping the Ministry 
at Hogwarts...) is keeping them insane?
