(Me, Leandra:)
In my opinion this theroy is a bit farfetched. Why would Lupin
conceal his true self from Harry, if he was indeed James?
About the documentation:

yes, he's a werewolf.

that is no proof that Remus is James. Why shouldn't Remus be her
favourite character even if he was NOT James? Also, we can pick up on
the whole "death is final" thing she said about Sirius. Wouldn't that
also apply to James? If she said he's dead, we should believe her.

Book 1 also says that Hagrid picked up Harry at the Potter's house,
and brought him to the Dursleys on Sirius' motorbike. He could have
picked up the Cloak there and Sirius might have given him the vault
key (as the Potter's former secret keeper and James' best friend he
might have known where the key was)

of course he knows him. First of all, Remus knows what has happened
the night James and Lily died, so he knows about the scar. Secondly,
it's clearly not in Remus' nature to stare at Harry as if he was
something special. He knows that he's only a boy. Remus' isn't one to
fall for that "Boy who lived" worshipping. I'm also quite sure that
Remus has already seen Harry when Harry was a baby, he was a good
friend of James and Lily after all.

He reads his mind? What does he know exactly that other people don't
know?

I think even as Lupin he's deeply touched and trying to control
himself. James and Lily were good friends, weren't they?

Maybe Trelawney doesn't know? Who said everybody knew that Remus was
a werewolf? Snape knows, of course, after the incident in their 6th
year. Dumbledore knows, because he brought Remus to Hogwarts in the
first place. Pomfrey knows, because she took care of him as a child.
I don't think Dumbledore told everybody from the staff about
Remus' "condition".
Also, I don't think Remus longs to hear all about his "untimely
death". He's no masochist... *g*
The rest of the documentation doesn't give a single clue if your
theory is true. It's simply picking lines out of context and reading
something into it.
At least that's my opinion. Of course, it's an interesting theory,
but I don't think there is even a grain of truth hidden in there.
