DraCo (Malfoy) I means harsh, rigid, ergo no connection.

Sorry to disagree-but my research and others also shows that:

DRACO(male) is from Ancient Greek (Latinized) - is derived from Greek
word Drakon meaning "dragon, serpent". Draco was the name of a 7th-
century BC Athenian legislator who had a less than illustrious
career. Too, it is the name of a constellation in the northern sky.

But, I was really trying to saw as I did the irony of the motto and
Draco's current situation. How ironic that Draco's previous
intolerance, pranks, anger, etc. were simply michief, jealousy, house
rivalry, or pure-blood intolerance of mixed bloods.

The stakes have now been raised five-fold! His father has been
arrested, reputation maybe smeared, could be expensive (moneywise) in
long run, and Lucius is in Azkaban. The trio, especially Harry,
will be going back to Hogwarts after being directly responsible for
most of this. So, clearly they have "tickled a sleeping Dragon".

Will there be serious ramifications resulting from their perceived
interference in the Malfoy's life (and lifestyle)?

Susan (A.G.)
