No.  Remeber that one boy in CoS who said his family goes back nine 
generations of Witches and Wizards?  He thought it would be enough for him not to be 
killed.

I think, in current ideology, you get pureblood status if both your parents 
are magicborn, remember Harry and Draco in Malkin's?

But I think to be "really really" a pure blood it has to go back a bit more 
than one generation, and after that you just get prestige and bragging rights

But certainly not to the begining of time
