Yeah I've always thought it was due to the death of a significant 
other that Snape turned to Dumbledore.  I have a feeling we haven't 
learned even a small bit of what he's all about.  And there's still 
the "Perseus Evans" thing too.

And sophineclare: if you can write an other Moxy Fruvous-inspired 
theory to "My Baby Loves A Bunch of Authours," more power to you. ;)  
(Not really a fan of them; I'm more of a Tragically Hip girl myself.)
