disputing about whether HP really existed. "There is no historical
evidence for his existence", they will say. But of course there will
be numerous holy relics. Enough bones to put together twelve Harry
Potters. There will be no copies of the original books left and the
oldest book will be one that was printed about 300 years after Harry
Potter was supposed to have lived. However there will be certain,
um, "adaptations" shall we call them, to the text, because, well, the
texts didn't quite fit in with the opinions of the School Fathers,
did they?

because those who didn't quite stick to the doctrine had to
be "corrected", didn't they? For their own good, of course. But
that's all forgotten and forgiven now, in 2003 HP, because the Holy
Dumbledad has apologised.

young people are leaving the Schools because they reckon it's
fossilized and decaying. They're fed up with being edified by the
boring exploits of St Potter.

This post has managed to intensify my interest in this thread.
The evolution of inspiration from the divine source.
In 2003 HP the divine source will seek out new geniuses to rebuild
the pillars of the way of Liberation, just as in 1990 a literary
master such as JK Rowling was, and 2000 years previous was St Paul
etc.
Amazingly profound wisdom Hans. I am glad you pointed this out.
Ok before I get us kicked off the list to OT chatter I had better
bring some book material into the discussion.
In other posts you have given some interesting points about the
future of Harry.
That in the path of Jupiter he becomes a great leader.
I absolutely agree with you that the Occlumency lessons won't be the
continuing story in book 6. Harry proved that he was Occlumens
competent in OoP. He simply _chose_ to keep the link open because he
believed that by it he was actively fighting Voldemort. ie The mental
ego that he passed beyond at the end in a tragic and profound lesson
of life.
with the occlumency story played out in the series I see instead
another group of lessons that have not even begun to fulfill their
potential. Dumbledores Army. Harry is a leader in OoP and his
potential in that role is displayed. But Harry has not achieved the
full arc of the leadership role.
Noting that Harry is in contention for more roles of leadership in
book 6 and 7 as a possible Quidditch Captain or Head Boy, his
strongest leadership role is already established and in comparison
others have come to mean virtually nothing.
Hermione has helped him to see his role as a leader of liberation
with her instigation of SPEW and DA. In both cases Hermione has
placed Harry at the fore of the front. Appointing him in his
important role.
Will it be third time lucky for Hermione in placing the boy on his
correct throne in book six?
Valky.
