My guess is he has more gifts because he has a big family. The
presents might not even all be from his brothers and sister. He is a
pure blood so he must have tons of wizard and witch uncles and aunts
and cousins. Also, reemphasizes Harry's lack of wealth as far as
family goes and Ron having what Harry never has had/can have, etc.
