Hermione typifies the kind of person who goes to another country 
(the WW) and promptly comes up with better ideas of how it should be 
run, what is wrong with their culture and customs and so on.  

She has know real knowledge of house-elves and their cultural 
significance in the WW - except for what she has read in books, and 
knowledge of only two of the type - Dobby and Winky.  Mind you, I 
agree with her if she criticises individual treatment of house-
elves - as she does with Kreacher - just not her generalisations.
