I've thought about someone being a traitor, too, and I don't think it 
will be Ron.  I think that Dumbeldore made him Prefect b/c he knows 
that Ron doesn't get much glory (and also b/c Harry would be a bit 
preoccupied, what with fifilling the Prophecy and all.)  Also, Ron 
got some glory by helping Gryffindor win the Quidditch Cup.  It was 
said in PoA that Neville resembled Pettigrew, but I think JKR will 
use that to show how it is choices that make people what they are and 
therefore Neville will be loyal to Harry.  Just my 2 cents (Canadian).
