The canon only states that Ron was unable to enforce rules to F&G. (Of
course I may be wrong, but Probatio incumbit ei, qui dicit, non ei, qui
negat (i.e. The proof lies upon him who affirms, not upon him who
denies) -- so since you are making the claims, you should proof it with
canon.

He was not involved: "`Goyle's mum'll be really pleased, though,' said
Ron, who had come to investigate the source
of the commotion. `He's loads betterlooking not... anyway, Harry, the food
trolley's just stopped if you want anything...'" (last chapter -- OOP)
And yes, I'll make a case they were defending Harry. You totally missed
the point. You are basically claiming that when someone is attacking me
(or my friends) with baseball bat, I can not use one; I just should wear
helmet and protective clothing.

As some insightful member wrote: last Harry's vision saved Ron's father
life.

That's serious statement. You do have a canon for that, don't you?

I can understand why you are biased - in fact we all are, but what
really bothers me is that you see Ron as 100% loser.
