Now me:

It has always baffled me the amount of people in fandom that think
Hogwarts is free. Where in canon is this indicated? The magical world
is bound by economics just like the Muggle world, as we can plainly
see by the Weasleys. The amount of labor, food, and supplies required
to run something like Hogwarts cannot on donations. We clearly see
Hogwarts is a private school, not a government run school. Ifthe
MInistry had real control it could have fired Dumbledore outright,
not to mention the school has a board of governors. And even if it
was stae-run, it still wouldn't be free. I attend a state school and
pay a tuition. I always say the simplest explanation is ussually the
right one. You don't assume it's a Zebra when you hears hoofs
clopping along. It just makes a lot more sense that student spay
tuition. Otherwise what would the Weasleys be spending their money
on? The children are fed 10 months out the year by HOgwarts.

Anyways, started to beat a dead hoarse, I rest my peace.

Now! On to Crooked noses. Am I the only one that thought that
adjective was used alot in this book? Mostly in descriptions of
Dumbledore, but ALSO, in a certain man fighting with his wife while a
greasy-haried child hid in the corner.

I have seen many theories on Dumbledore being related to Harry, but
what if he is related to Snape instead? Would that have had any
effect on Snape's return to the light side? Would that cause
resentment towards Snape from the Marauders? Just a thought....
