I thought this too when Hermione was "businesslike"
when speaking of Cho. Maybe this is a hint from JKR,
but then she has indicated in an interview that she
sees Ron with Hermione, not Harry. And it's true
Hermione does show throughout the books a caring and
admiration toward Harry, more so than Ron. But again,
this is through Harry's eyes and maybe he just doesn't
notice everything going on between his two friends.
