I was just wondering who you consider to be Ron's close
friends, apart from Harry and Hermione.

I may be missing something, but I don't believe Ron has any.

When he was upset with Harry in GoF, he hung out with his
brothers and their friend, but otherwise it didn't seem he
was doing much with anyone else. He doesn't seem
particularly close to Dean, Seamus or Neville, or any kids
from other years or houses, either.

I have the feeling, all three of them (Harry, Ron and
Hermione) might be a bit lonely if they hadn't found each
other.
