Gosh, why is this bothering you so much? I don't know why you got 
the idea that I'm 'so opposed' to joining the low volume film 
group...I'm already a member of it!   However, the posts about JKR's 
linking a seemingly insignificant bit of the COS film to something 
significant in the rest of the series belong firmly in a book 
discussion.I can't see why references to the films, WHERE RELEVANT 
TO THE BOOKS, bugs you so much.  IF JKR has made a link between a 
specific part of the film and the future books (which she has) then 
it's perfectly valid to discuss what that link may be in this group. 
It's relevant to the future plot of the series, therefore it belongs 
in this group. By all means it can also be posted in the other group 
as well.


Perhaps we should leave this dispute here? It must be really boring 
for the others in the group and isn't really achieving any greater 
understanding of the books, which, after all, is what we're here for.
