The thing that bothers me MOST about Percys' behaviour in OoTP is the
fact that he didn't come to see his Dad, or appear to have any
contact whatsoever with him when he was injured. He nearly died and
he didn't seem to care at all. To me that doesn't add up. I know he
is ambitious and we saw it coming in previous books, but I really
felt like his over the top behaviour in this book was very fishy. I'm
not sure what it all means, but I have this feeling that there is
more to his 'turning his back on his family' then meets the eye. I'm
going to have to go back through the Percy threads and see what other
peoples opinions are.
