Me:
She may be beautifully written and she may do things to Harry to
undermine him but the fact she is a sadistic and vicious woman who
should never have reached the position she is in; it is presumbaly
only because Fudge is a weak character that she has. To actually set
Dementors on Harry knowing the likely outcome and to attempt to use
an unforgiveable curse - anticipating that it would not come to
light - is a sign of someone totally and utterly depraved.
This is why I hate her more than anyone else I have met in the books.
I thought I was doing well with the Malfoys but I just hope that a
nice sticky end is in sight for the good lady.
There are obviously parallels in the real world, typically in the
Nazi regime and other modern dictatorships where the bully gets away
with things being surrounded by cronies.
