(This is my first post so bear with me)
My big question is--is the pensieve 'reality' or is it the way that
things are remembered from the person's pespective who 'deposits' the
memory into the penseive. My point is, in grade school I was often
teased on by a group of bully-girls and this is really caught in my
memory as these girls being terrible and making me cry. Years later,
one of these girls was in a class I was taking in college and we
became friends. I confronted her with my memories of grade-school and
she had no reccolection of it being like this at all! She didn't even
remember that she teased me!

I know that Serius admits to Harry that the Snape thing did happen
but maybe it wasn't the way it seemed, maybe Snape wasn't innocently
sitting there as *he*, Snape, remembers it. It's a simple POV issue.
Events vary dramatically from one persons interpretation to anothers
don't they. So my question is does the Penseive take into account
Perspective or does it somehow filter Perspective into the actual
reality?

Once again first timer who hasn't thought about stuff like this since
I was an English Major 15 years ago. Trish.
