[HPforGrownups] Escape from Azkaban Flint?

My take on this situation is that Fudge made two trips out to Azkaban
 
<Cornelius Fudge says, "Yet I met Black on my last inspection of Azkaban."> 

this doesn't necessarily mean that it was the last time he was at Azkaban, just the last time he went for an inspection.  My thought is that he gave Sirius the newspaper during his inspection and then he went out to Azkaban again after he learned that Sirius had escaped in order to investigate what had happened and that's when they told him that Sirius had been talking in his sleep.
 
Hope this clears things up a bit.
