A Banshee is a dark and deadly spirit, it is the Celtic messenger of
death. Unlike the Grimm which is an omen, a warning, if you hear a
Banshee wail, someone will die. That's why Seamus is afraid of a Banshee. 

So, I don't see a messenger of death being a house guest of the
Dursley's or the new DADA teacher.

Just my opinion though.
