Just a my (Ginger)perspective, here, but maybe the point is that it 
*sounded* something like Mimblewimble.  If Hagrid had completed 
enough coursework to know about it, or had just picked it up in 
passing, he may have had a psychological reaction to it and fluffed 
the spell thinking he had been cursed to do just that.

Or maybe he's just not a very good wizard.


ME:  Well, considering he does all his magick with a broken wand (it was snapped in half!), I would say he is a pretty darn good wizard!  Huggs Becky
